Smartest Street Vendor / தெரு வியாபாரி
உலகிலேயே மிக நேர்த்தியான தெரு வியாபாரியாக இருக்கிறார் பிரேசிலைச் சேர்ந்த 43 வயது அயில்டன் மேனுவல் சில்வா. / Ayedon Manuvel Silva, Brazil, 43 years is the smartest street vendor in the world.
வெள்ளைச் சட்டை, கறுப்பு பேண்ட், தொப்பி, குளிர்க் கண்ணாடி, ஷூ சகிதம் நொறுக்குத் தீனிகளையும் குளிர்பானங்களையும் விற்பனை செய்து வருகிறார். / Wearing a white shirt, black pant, hat, cooling glass, shoe etc he is selling snacks and cool drinks.
தினமும் அதிகாலை 5.30 மணிக்கு போக்குவரத்து அதிகம் இருக்கும் பகுதிக்கு வந்து, குளிர் பானங்களைத் தயார் செய்கிறார். 7 மணிக்கு விற்பனையை ஆரம்பிக்கிறார். / Every day he comes to a busy place at 5.30 am and prepares cool drinks. At 7.00 am he starts his sales.
மாலை 5.30 மணி வரை வியாபாரம் செய்து, சுமார் 8 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் சம்பாதிக்கிறார். / He works till 5.30 pm and earns around Rs.8,000.
“நான் ஒரு பட்டறையில் வேலை செய்து வந்தேன். அந்த வருமானத்தை வைத்து மனைவி, 3 குழந்தைகளைப் பாதுகாக்க முடியவில்லை. / I was working in a workshop. But that earnings was insufficient for maintaining my wife and three children.
வேறு நல்ல வேலை கிடைக்கும் வரை இந்த வேலையைச் செய்யலாம் என்று ஆரம்பித்தேன்./ I started this, thinking that I can do it job until I get a better one.
ஆனால் மக்களுக்கு தெரு வியாபாரிகள் மீது வெறுப்பு இருந்தது. கார் கண்ணாடியைக் கூடத் திறக்க மாட்டார்கள்.
But people hated street vendors. They never bothered even to lower their car window glass.
ஏன் இந்த வியாபாரத்துக்கு வந்தோம் என்று நினைத்தேன்.
I was fed up for having entered this job.
பிறகு உடை, ஷூ, குளிர்க் கண்ணாடி, தொப்பி என்று நேர்த்தியாகவும் நளினமாகவும் விற்பனையை ஆரம்பித்தேன்.
Later I did this job after changing my appearance and style i.e. wearing neat dress, shoes , cooling glasses, hat etc.
எல்லோரும் பாப்கார்ன், சிப்ஸ், குளிர்பானங்களைக் கேட்டு வாங்க ஆரம்பித்தனர். இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளாக வியாபாரம் நன்றாகப் போகிறது.
Now everyone is getting pop corn, chips and cool drinks from me. I have been doing this for the last two years.
எனக்கென்று அன்பான வாடிக்கையாளர்கள் பெருகிவிட்டனர். இந்த வருமானத்தை வைத்து குழந்தைகளைப் பள்ளியிலும் மனைவியைக் கல்லூரியிலும் படிக்க வைக்கிறேன்.
My customers strength had increased. I am using this money to educate my children in school and my wife in college.
எனக்கு இந்தத் தொழிலில் முக்கியமான பிரச்சினை வெயில்தான். நாள் முழுவதும் வெயிலில் அலைந்தால் தோல் புற்றுநோய் வரும் என்று மனைவி பயப்படுகிறார்.
Sun light is the only problem in this business. My wife says that I may get skin cancer if I work in the sunlight for the whole day.
இந்தத் தொழிலில் போட்டியில்லை. வருமானமும் கிடைக்கிறது. எல்லோரும் மரியாதை கொடுக்கிறார்கள்.
There is no competition in this job. And I also get enough earnings. And all people give me respect.
என் மனைவியின் படிப்பு முடிந்தவுடன் கொஞ்சம் பணம் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, ஒரு கடை ஆரம்பிக்கும் எண்ணத்தில் இருக்கிறேன்” என்கிறார் சில்வா.
I plan to save some money and once my wife completes her studies, I should open a shop.
